About Becky Wolfe

Hey there smile

I’m Becky, a mom of 2 sweet little boys as well as a Leadership and Health Coach on a mission to help women and men live happy, healthy lives and lead with confidence.

I would love to help you feel like the superhuman that you are.  I dove headfirst into coaching the last year after spending 15 years in medicine as a Physician Assistant and have never felt more fulfilled since I decided to take that leap.  I would love to help you feel like your healthiest, most authentic self.  It is my mission to help as many people as possible feel empowered and confident!

I am really good at… Listening…. I love listening and helping people get unstuck and to see their potential, guiding them towards it!  Coaching is a blessing and a gift as I get to watch people grow and become incredible, healthy leaders for themselves, their kids/families, and anyone around them.  I love helping women and men overcome negative mindsets to feel happy, whole and authentic.  Oh and also… I am really good at cooking and baking. Ok… you got me. I also love baseball- especially watching my 9-year-old.

A little more about me…. I started my career as a Physician Assistant 15 years ago with 7 of those years spent in Cardiology.  While working in Cardiology, I had my first son (2011) and wanted to learn as much as possible about diet and exercise. I noticed during that time that my patients started asking 2 questions over and over again- “How do I lose weight?” and “How do I get off my medications?”

Those questions shook me.  I started seeing the disconnect of medicine as I was spending more of my time educating patients on their disease and the meds they were taking and not enough time empowering them to eat well, exercise and giving them information on how to lose weight.

I decided to become a certified Health Coach to really help my patients get the answers they wanted.

After I was certified, I started group coaching in my office after work. I would routinely coach a group of 8-10 patients. I noticed they were making changes and one patient in particular came back to see his cardiologist and lost 35 pounds – enough to get off all of his meds but 1!

I started crying that day with that patient because of the words he told me…

“What you are doing is making a difference.”

I couldn’t shake those words from my patient, but life threw me a curveball when I had my second child who required extra care because of some medical issues. I was pulled away from coaching to take care of him and survive life with being a working mom of 2 boys.

The next big wave of shock was when I was let go from that cardiology practice as the doctors all decided to go their separate ways. That unfortunate experience led to another big investment which was taking part in a leadership intensive for one year from 2018-2019.

I believe that the negative experience with how that cardiology office fell apart became the catalyst to me seeking out an opportunity to improve my skills as a leader. That course completely changed the trajectory of my life…. It gave me a voice, allowed me to feel more confident in parenting my kids and leading at work and in my community.

I started thinking even more about what it might look like to practice proactive medicine (actually helping people get healthy) instead of reactive medicine (treating disease). I decided to go all in. I was hired by a company to work full-time as a Health Coach and I still work for that company today, but I have also had several clients reach out to me and decided to start this website/blog as a way to pursue my other passion of writing again. My mission is now to free as many women and men as I can and give them permission to live fully and be the most authentic versions of themselves that they can be.

It may seem weird that I have a passion and purpose to be both a Health and Leadership Coach but to me it makes perfect sense. I’m a coach to the core.  I was made to mentor and guide others to feel whole and fulfill their purpose. Knowing who I am and having the words to understand why I love coaching so much has given me the courage and confidence to pursue this and help as many people as I can.

I can’t wait to get to know you better! In the meantime, here are a few fun facts about me 🙂
